“My name is Jennifer Smith. My new commitment is to help others learn about dyslexia and let them have a glimpse of what it feels like being one as a kid.”
“When I was nine years old I could not read. It couldn’t even read the word “the”. I would remember how to read this easy word on some days and on other days I would forget. I felt stupid. I was teased relentlessly.”
“The smile that comes from deep within me whenever I see another child learn how to read is so powerful I want to cry from the overwhelming emotion.” ” I want people to realize that when someone has dyslexia it is not a
curse but that it is a blessing.”
